Customs clearances takes approx. 2 – 3 days. (with no customs / Port Health stops, etc)

We can pre-clear on consignments arriving with Emirates & SAA, but it would be preferred that cargo is sent with Emirates as airline flies direct to Cape Town. On the other airlines, we cannot re-clear and will have to wait for the cargo to arrive in Cape Town before clearing. We require a copy of the Air-waybill, commercial invoice and Packing list in advance to enable us to pre-clear consignments.

We would require a copy of the Airwaybill in advance to track consignments and confirm details for customs entry. The commercial invoice of the spares must be fully detailed showing full consignee details and showing every item that is arriving with individual values as per customs requirement. Consignee details on Airwaybill and invoice to state: MASTERS OF M/V VESSEL NAME C/O Maryan Holdings, full address and contact numbers. Shipments should be sent in advance ensuring we would be able to arrange the necessary clearing of consignments. Also, if we were to have a Stop, we would have the time available to ensure consignments are cleared, uplifted and available for delivery timeously.

FYG: Should you send spares via Lufthansa Airlines, shipments will arrive in Johannesburg and thereafter be road hauled to Cape Town, which may cause delays.

In order to provide a quote on customs clearance for spares, we will require weight and dimensions.
